Recently, at the Together Rising event in Seattle, Milck performed a few of her songs. The experience was beautiful, moving, empowering, emotional and soul stirring. As tears streamed down my face, she sang of everything that I had been feeling. Over the past several years I have done a tremendous amount of inner child healing work, but over the past few weeks I was able to see the depth of pain and healing that still needed to be done.

On this day, we celebrate one of the most courageous souls, Dr. King, who was a champion for peace, love and oneness. I write this in honor of him, for he knew long ago what some of us are only beginning to fully realize and put into practice, and what many still can’t comprehend; love is the only answer to hate.
