Feeling The FIRE!!! Somatic Practices for Healing Anger & Rage
This is a guided somatic experience with different ways to feel and move through anger & rage. Anger and rage are not a problem, they are simply emotions and a somatic build-up that need attention and space to move through in a healthy way.
If you are feeling shameful because of these emotions, hold space for the part of you that feels that way, while also allowing the fire to move through you with these practices. List of practices:
Fire Breath
Dragon Breath
Growling
Twisting a towel while vocalizing
Dancing it out
Walking/Running it out
Drumming it out
If you don't have the space to vocalize but that is what your body needs, you can growl into a towel in the bathroom with the fan on, or go sit inside your car in the garage where you have private space to let the feelings move through.
