Healing Helical Breathing - Stimulating your Vagus Nerve

Join me as I walk you through one of my favorite nervous system healing practices - Helical Breathing! From a seated position:

  • Cross your left ankle over your right ankle

  • Right hand on left thigh

  • Left arm behind your head

  • Slightly opening towards the left

Breathe in through your nose 3 counts focusing your breathing to expand your back lower lungs, hold for 5 counts, exhale out of your mouth for 8 counts. Repeat 3 to 5 times or as long as feels good. May this activate your parasympathetic nervous system and provide peace and safety in your body!
